The core aim of ANFF is to provide micro and nano fabrication facilities for Australia’s researchers and their collaborative partners. Operating under the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS), user access to ANFF facilities is consistent with key NCRIS principles.

At ANFF-NSW, researchers from both the public and private sectors have the opportunity to be trained and certified for independent use of the Node’s equipment, or to have ANFF-NSW process engineers complete work on their behalf. The ANFF-NSW Projects Manager is the first point of contact for all potential users of ANFF-NSW facilities and will assist in defining project requirements, scheduling training and/or process engineer support and facilitating any inter-Node work.

Access fees are payable for equipment usage and staff support. Full details are given in the ANFF-NSW Access and Pricing Policy.
